Students and young activists gathered at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Tuesday, demanding that Union Health Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resign after allegations that the 2024 NEET examination paper was leaked.
The protest drew several hundred participants, many of whom carried placards reading “No to Paper Leak” and “Resign Dharmendra Pradhan”. The demonstrators marched through the park’s main entrance, chanting slogans and holding up copies of the leaked paper.
Protestors called for a thorough investigation into how the paper was leaked and for accountability from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. They also demanded that the exam board be re‑structured to prevent future breaches.
Police maintained order and escorted the crowd to a nearby police station for a brief discussion. No arrests were reported, and the authorities said they would review the incident and take appropriate action.
