Congress youth activists gathered outside the BJP district office in Ajmer, slashing posters demanding the resignation of state president Madan Rathod after his comments on Pakistan.
Youth members of the Indian National Congress assembled outside the Bharatiya Janata Party's district office in Ajmer to voice strong opposition to remarks made by state president Madan Rathod about Pakistan. The demonstrators positioned themselves along the office perimeter, chanting slogans and holding placards that called for Rathod's resignation.
Activists escalated the protest by affixing large, graphic posters on the BJP office walls. The posters were described as "objectionable" by local observers and bore messages demanding that the party leader step down immediately. The demand was framed as a response to what the protesters termed as insensitive and inflammatory statements.
The BJP office remained operational during the demonstration, and party workers reported that the protest did not turn violent. No arrests were reported, and the situation was monitored by local police to ensure public order.
