The Yash‑led action drama 'Toxic' recorded no growth in its Saturday collections, indicating a weak overall performance.
The action thriller 'Toxic', headlined by Kannada star Yash, opened to high expectations across major Indian multiplexes on Friday. Promotional campaigns highlighted the film's high‑octane stunts and a pan‑India release strategy, prompting industry watchers to anticipate a strong opening weekend.
However, Saturday's box‑office figures showed a flat trend, with collections failing to rise from Friday's earnings. Trade sources reported that the film's net revenue remained essentially unchanged, signalling limited audience pull despite the star power.
Analysts suggest that the stagnant performance could steer 'Toxic' toward a modest total, far below the projections set by its distributors. The lack of a weekend surge may also affect the film's screen allocation in the coming days, as exhibitors prioritize titles with stronger momentum.
