The Kannada blockbuster 'Toxic' fell over 60% in earnings on its second day, pushing its worldwide collection to roughly ₹190 crore, reports The Hollywood Reporter India.

Yash's latest Kannada action‑thriller, "Toxic," opened to strong box‑office numbers on its first day, establishing the film as a major summer release. The star‑driven venture attracted large audiences across major Indian metros and overseas markets where Kannada cinema has a growing fan base.

On the second day, however, the film's earnings slipped by more than 60 percent, according to data compiled by The Hollywood Reporter India. Despite the sharp decline, the cumulative worldwide gross now stands at about ₹190 crore, a figure that places "Toxic" among the higher‑earning Indian titles of the year.

Industry observers attribute the drop to the typical weekend dip that follows a high‑profile opening, as well as competition from other regional releases. Analysts note that sustaining the momentum will depend on word‑of‑mouth and the film's performance in smaller centres in the coming weeks.

The box‑office trajectory of "Toxic" will be closely watched by distributors, given Yash's recent track record of delivering blockbuster results. A steady hold in the second weekend could push the film beyond the ₹200‑crore mark globally.
