In Bhopal, the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Mahila Congress staged a 'Sadbuddhi Yagya' (a ritual for good sense) and a collective fast near Mata Mandir. The protest was organized to demand transparency and an audit of the funds collected for the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Congress leaders, including PCC Chief Jitu Patwari and former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh, were present at the event. The party has alleged irregularities in the collection and utilization of donations for the temple.
Senior leader Digvijaya Singh indicated that the party might explore legal avenues, stating that they would approach the Ayodhya court regarding the matter.
