The West Bengal government announced plans to sign memorandums of understanding for four airports, aiming to enhance regional air connectivity across the state.

Kolkata – The West Bengal government said it will soon sign memorandums of understanding with relevant authorities for the development of four airports in the state.
The agreements are intended to lay out plans for infrastructure upgrades, new routes and operational support that will improve air links to remote districts.
Officials indicated that the MoUs will be finalized in the coming weeks and will be implemented in coordination with central aviation policies.
The initiative is expected to boost tourism, trade and investment by providing faster connectivity for passengers and cargo.
