Residents of Saboli village in Delhi have been facing a water shortage for the past 48 hours, prompting concerns over daily needs and local supply.
Saboli, a village located on the outskirts of Delhi, has been experiencing a severe water shortage for the last two days. Local authorities report that the village's main water pipelines have been dry, leaving households without tap water for drinking, cooking, and hygiene.
Villagers have resorted to fetching water from nearby wells and temporary storage tanks, but supplies are limited and not sufficient to meet the community's needs. The shortage has also affected small businesses that rely on water for daily operations.
The Delhi Water Board has been notified, and officials say they are assessing the cause, which could be linked to supply line disruptions or increased demand. Residents are urged to conserve water while authorities work to restore normal supply.
No official timeline has been provided for when regular water flow will resume, but the board has promised to prioritize the village's restoration efforts.
