Local artists are creating wall paintings at stations along the Indore-Dahod railway line to showcase tribal art, culture and the heritage of Dhar district.
Work is currently underway at various railway stations on the Indore-Dahod line where wall paintings are being made. The project aims to display the rich tribal art and culture of the region.
Local artists have been engaged to create these paintings, providing them with a platform to showcase their skills and traditions. The artwork reflects the everyday life, motifs and colours associated with tribal communities.
In addition to tribal themes, the paintings also depict aspects of Dhar’s historical, religious and cultural heritage, linking the local identity with broader regional history.
Officials say the initiative is intended to enhance the visual experience of passengers while promoting indigenous art forms at public spaces.
