In Alwar's Belaka village, supporters of independent candidate Anita were attacked after she backed the BJP, resulting in two serious injuries.
On Thursday, a confrontation erupted in Belaka village of Alwar district when supporters of independent candidate Anita were assaulted after she announced her support for the BJP.
Witnesses say that a group of villagers brandished sticks and iron rods, striking the supporters and causing injuries.
Two people were taken to a nearby hospital with serious wounds, while police have opened an inquiry into the incident.
The local election committee has urged calm and said it will review the situation to prevent further unrest.
