Violence erupts at Purnia GMCH as relatives assault doctors and guards, five injured

Purnia, Bihar – A disturbance broke out at the Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) when relatives of a patient objected to the treatment being given. The aggrieved family members confronted medical staff and security personnel, resulting in a physical altercation. Two female security guards and three others sustained injuries during the clash.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident was reported. While the officers were attempting to restore order, the accused individuals fled the premises before they could be detained. The injured parties were taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.
