Jana Nayagan, the latest Tamil film featuring superstar Vijay, opened on 12th January and has now completed 16 days at the box office. According to NDTV Profit, the film has crossed the ₹310 crore threshold worldwide, marking a significant milestone for the star.
Domestic collections have climbed steadily, with the film earning approximately ₹200 crore in India. Overseas markets, particularly in the Gulf and Southeast Asia, contributed an additional ₹110 crore, bringing the global total to ₹310 crore.
The achievement places Jana Nayagan among Vijay’s highest‑grossing releases, trailing only his 2015 blockbuster Theri. Industry analysts note that the film’s blend of action, drama, and music has resonated with audiences across multiple regions.
