The post, which was shared by an unknown account, suggested that Varma had benefited from a reservation scheme, a claim that has no basis in any official record.

Varma stated that the post is entirely fabricated and urged followers to verify sources before sharing.

He added that he has never applied for or received any reservation benefits, and the claim is misleading.
