On today, vehicles parked in the service lane of the Delhi-Jaypur highway blocked kāvandi processions, causing delays for pilgrims traveling to the destination. Delhi Traffic Police issued a notice to remove the vehicles and increased patrols on the stretch. The kāvandi processions were forced to detour, leading to inconvenience, and the police assured measures will be taken to prevent recurrence.
