In Valsad district, authorities have initiated an emergency survey to address water shortages, restore electricity and repair damaged roads following a meeting with Deputy Chief Minister Harshbhai Sanghvi.

Valsad district authorities have launched an emergency survey starting tonight to address water shortages and restore essential services.

The survey follows a meeting between Deputy Chief Minister Harshbhai Sanghvi and senior officials, where orders were issued to allocate additional sanitation staff in municipal areas and expedite insurance claim approvals.

In villages, work will focus on repairing broken power lines, erecting new poles, and fixing submerged transformers to restore electricity, while road surveys will be conducted to repair damaged routes and improve traffic flow.

The measures aim to quickly resume normalcy and ensure public welfare amid the crisis.
