The Uttarakhand government has terminated the service of a constable after he participated in a protest organized by the CJP. The move follows the state’s policy of maintaining discipline among police personnel.

The Uttarakhand state government announced the dismissal of a constable who took part in a protest organized by the CJP. The police officer, whose identity has not been disclosed, was found to have participated in the demonstration without official permission. The decision was taken in line with the state’s disciplinary guidelines for law‑enforcement personnel.

The dismissal notice was issued by the Uttarakhand Police Department and was communicated to the constable’s superiors. The officer’s service record will be marked as terminated, and he will not be eligible for any future employment within the state police force.

The state authorities have reiterated that participation in political or civic protests by police personnel is prohibited unless sanctioned by the department. The move is part of a broader effort to uphold neutrality and professionalism within the force.
