The Uttar Pradesh government is seeking to attract ₹10,000 crore in investments to develop the state's energy value chain.

The state administration announced its intention to mobilise a total of ten thousand crore rupees for projects across the energy value chain, encompassing generation, transmission, distribution and ancillary services.
Officials said the investment drive is aimed at strengthening Uttar Pradesh's energy infrastructure, reducing power shortages and fostering industrial growth in the region.
The government has invited participation from private firms, financial institutions and potential foreign partners, though specific project details and timelines have not yet been disclosed.
