Uttar Pradesh School Campus Floods, Students Forced to Wade Through Dirty Water

A flood has inundated a school campus in Uttar Pradesh, forcing students to navigate through dirty water to reach their classrooms. The incident occurred after heavy rains overwhelmed the campus drainage system, causing water to accumulate across the school premises.

According to local reports, the flood affected the main academic block and the playground, making it difficult for teachers and students to conduct regular classes. Several students were seen walking through waist‑deep water while trying to reach their lessons.

School authorities have requested emergency assistance from the district administration to clear the water and restore normal functioning. The incident has raised concerns about the adequacy of flood‑control measures at educational institutions in the region.

Officials have urged parents to keep their children away from the affected areas until the situation is fully resolved. The school has also announced a temporary shift to online classes to ensure continuity of education.
