The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has introduced stringent anti‑cheating measures for the 2026 Preliminary Eligibility Test, aiming to curb malpractice in the state’s recruitment exam.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) announced that it will enforce strict anti‑cheating protocols for the 2026 Preliminary Eligibility Test, a key gateway exam for various state government positions. The commission said the new measures are designed to strengthen the integrity of the recruitment process and to deter any form of malpractice.

According to the official statement, UPSSSC will deploy enhanced surveillance, biometric verification of candidates, and impose harsher penalties on those found violating the rules. Additional steps such as increased invigilator presence and tighter control over electronic devices will also be part of the enforcement strategy.

The move comes amid growing concerns over cheating in previous examinations, and officials expect the tightened framework to restore confidence among aspirants and ensure a level playing field for all participants.
