The Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) announced on Thursday that a road located within the premises of Jauhar University is now open for public use. The decision follows a recent inspection that confirmed the road’s structural integrity and suitability for vehicular traffic.
The road, which runs through the university’s campus, was previously restricted to university staff and students. With the opening, local commuters and visitors can now use the route to access the campus and surrounding areas.
Officials from the PWD said the move aims to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion on nearby main roads. The department also noted that the road will be maintained regularly to ensure safety for all users.
