The annual Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026 concluded today in Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, showcasing the latest agricultural technologies and innovations to farmers and stakeholders.

The Unnat Krishi Mahotsav 2026, a flagship agricultural event organized by the state government, officially closed on Tuesday in the town of Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. The three‑day festival, held at the Raisen Agricultural Complex, attracted thousands of visitors, including farmers, agribusiness leaders and government officials.

During the event, a range of exhibitions highlighted cutting‑edge farming equipment, precision agriculture tools and sustainable crop‑management practices. Demonstrations of drone‑based crop monitoring and automated irrigation systems drew significant attention from the local farming community.

In addition to product showcases, the Mahotsav featured workshops and panel discussions on topics such as climate‑resilient agriculture, digital marketplaces for farm produce, and government subsidy schemes. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Agricultural University and several NGOs participated, offering guidance and resources to attendees.

State Agriculture Minister Ramesh Sharma emphasized that the Mahotsav aimed to bridge the gap between technology and rural farmers, boosting productivity and income. He announced plans to expand the event to other districts in the coming years, reinforcing the state’s commitment to modernizing agriculture across Madhya Pradesh.
