Union MoS Raksha Khadse Reviews Mizoram’s Sports Ecosystem, Visits Sai Aizawl

Union Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse arrived in Aizawl to assess the overall sports ecosystem of Mizoram. The visit was aimed at understanding the current state of facilities, training programmes and administrative structures that support athletes in the northeastern state.
During his stay, Khadse met with senior officials of the Mizoram State Sports Council and local sports administrators to discuss ongoing projects and challenges faced by the sports community.
The minister’s itinerary included a tour of the Sai Aizawl sports complex, where he observed the existing infrastructure and interacted with coaches and athletes using the venue.
Khadse’s review is expected to inform future central‑state collaborations aimed at strengthening grassroots sports, improving coaching standards and upgrading facilities across Mizoram.
