Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said reports that China has moved 60 kilometres inside Arunachal Pradesh are inaccurate, urging caution in reporting border incidents.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju publicly refuted recent media reports suggesting that Chinese forces had penetrated 60 kilometres into Arunachal Pradesh. He described such claims as unfounded and warned against sensationalising border incidents without solid evidence.
Rijiju emphasized that the Indian Army continues to monitor the Line of Actual Control (LAC) vigilantly and that no verified incursion has been recorded in the sector. He urged journalists and analysts to rely on official data before drawing conclusions.
The minister also highlighted that any genuine concerns are being addressed through diplomatic channels and routine military‑civilian coordination, underscoring India's commitment to safeguarding its territorial integrity.
