A violent altercation broke out on Tuesday in the Pahadganj slum of Delhi when a man identified as the victim’s uncle attacked his nephew with a knife. The confrontation stemmed from a dispute over the cramped settlement.
The 19‑year‑old victim, identified as Aram Bag, lived in the Aram Bagh slum and earned his livelihood as an e‑rickshaw driver. He sustained fatal injuries after being stabbed multiple times.
Delhi police arrived at the scene, secured the area and arrested the alleged perpetrator, who is now being held for further investigation. The case is being treated as a homicide, and investigators are probing the underlying cause of the family feud.
