A disturbing incident has been reported from Umaria, where the ceiling of a 5-year-old school building collapsed, injuring two to three students. The incident occurred at the Akhadar Government School, where the plaster of the 12th-grade classroom ceiling gave way, causing serious injuries to one student, Lavkush Gupta. The school management has been accused of trying to cover up the incident, prompting the district education officer to issue a notice to the principal, seeking an explanation.
