UltraTech Cement to Expand EV Truck Fleet to 600+ by Dec 2026

UltraTech Cement has unveiled a strategy to expand its electric vehicle truck fleet to more than 600 units by December 2026. The move is part of the company’s broader sustainability agenda to cut greenhouse gas emissions from its supply chain. The new trucks will replace a significant portion of the diesel-powered fleet currently used for transporting cement across India. By adopting electric traction, UltraTech expects to lower operating costs and enhance its competitive edge in the logistics sector.
