The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has opened online applications for 54 Lower PCS vacancies for 2026, outlining eligibility, exam pattern and key dates.

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) issued a recruitment notification for the 2026 Lower PCS cadre, inviting applications for 54 vacancies across various state departments. The call for applications is being accepted through the commission’s official online portal as per the guidelines released in the notice.

Candidates must satisfy basic eligibility requirements, including Indian citizenship, the prescribed age range and a minimum educational qualification of a graduate degree. Physical standards and other statutory conditions are also stipulated in the notification.

The selection process will follow the standard three‑stage format: a preliminary objective test, a mains descriptive examination and a final interview. Detailed schedules for admit card issuance, exam dates and result declaration will be posted on the UKPSC website.

Applicants are required to complete the online form, upload scanned copies of supporting documents and remit the prescribed application fee electronically. The commission advises aspirants to read the full notification carefully to ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.

This recruitment drive aims to strengthen the state’s administrative machinery by inducting fresh talent into the Lower PCS cadre, offering a stable career path in Uttarakhand’s civil services.
