The United Kingdom’s senior diplomat landed in Assam on Monday, marking his tenth official visit to the northeastern state. The delegation’s itinerary includes meetings with state officials and a tour of the newly commissioned terminal at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
The new terminal, built to handle increased passenger traffic and larger aircraft, features modern check‑in counters, expanded baggage facilities and upgraded passenger lounges.
