Ujjain authorities are demolishing old quarters to construct a modern holding area that will feature drinking water facilities, CCTV surveillance, and washrooms.
Ujjain, the historic city in Madhya Pradesh, is set to replace its aging residential quarters with a modern holding area as part of the city’s preparations for the upcoming 2028 festival. The demolition of the old structures will make way for a new facility designed to accommodate visitors and residents alike. The new holding area will be equipped with essential amenities, including a reliable drinking water supply, CCTV surveillance for security, and clean washrooms for public use. The upgrade aims to improve infrastructure, enhance safety, and provide a more comfortable environment for the community.
