Thousands of devotees gathered at the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain on Tuesday morning for the Bhasma Aarti ceremony on the occasion of Jyeshtha Shukla Navami. Lord Mahakal was adorned with special attire, including Tripundra, a crescent moon, and ash was offered.

The world-famous Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain witnessed a massive congregation of devotees on Tuesday morning. The occasion was the Bhasma Aarti ceremony held on Jyeshtha Shukla Navami.

During the sacred ritual, Lord Mahakal was elaborately decorated. The deity was adorned with Tripundra (three horizontal lines of ash or sandalwood paste on the forehead), a crescent moon, and was offered Bhasma (sacred ash).

The morning's proceedings were amplified by the resonant sounds of cymbals, drums, and conch shells, creating a spiritually charged atmosphere that captivated the attendees.
