Ujjain: Mahakal adorned with cannabis, offered darshan as Swastika and Moon

On the occasion of Jyeshtha Shukla Shashti, devotees at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain were presented with a distinctive celestial depiction of Baba Mahakal. During the early morning Bhasma Aarti, the deity was elaborately adorned with cannabis, forming a divine effigy.

Following the cannabis adornment, the idol was further presented in the forms of a Swastika and the Moon, creating a unique and awe-inspiring visual for the gathered worshippers. This special ritual attracted a large congregation of devotees eager to partake in the darshan of this rare manifestation.

The temple, a prominent pilgrimage site, witnessed significant footfall as people sought blessings from Lord Mahakal in his specially decorated form.
