Ujjain Ends 8-Year Thirst Crisis with Successful Water Management

Ujjain residents experienced relief from water scarcity this summer, a situation that had previously caused distress as the Gambhir Dam's water levels dropped. A strategy implemented under CM Dr. Mohan Yadav's directives ensured adequate water supply and preserved reserves for the future.

Ujjain has successfully overcome its annual water crisis, a problem that has plagued the city for the past eight years. This summer, residents did not face the usual scarcity as the Gambhir Dam's water levels declined.

The turnaround is attributed to a strategic plan executed on the directives of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. This initiative ensured that the city's water needs were met despite the low levels in the Gambhir Dam.

Beyond providing immediate relief, the implemented measures have also successfully conserved the remaining water in the Gambhir Dam. This ensures that the water reserves are protected and available for the upcoming summer season, preventing a recurrence of the crisis.
