During a Dussehra rally in Mumbai, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray criticised the BJP‑led central government and the state administration, accusing them of neglecting Maharashtra’s interests.
Uddhav Thackeray, the chief of Shiv Sena, addressed a large gathering at a Dussehra rally in Mumbai, using the platform to launch a sharp attack on the BJP‑led Union government and the state administration of Maharashtra. He argued that the central leadership has repeatedly overlooked the developmental needs of the state and that the state government has failed to safeguard Maharashtra’s interests.
The veteran politician warned that continued neglect could erode the confidence of the people in both the Centre and the state machinery. He called for a more assertive stance to protect the region’s economic and cultural priorities, urging his supporters to hold the authorities accountable.
The rally, organized by Shiv Sena supporters, attracted a sizable crowd of party cadres and local residents. While Thackeray’s remarks dominated the proceedings, no immediate response from the BJP or the Maharashtra government was reported at the event.
