Udaipur Solar Meet Wraps Up, Highlights Aditya‑L1 Mission Findings

The Udaipur Solar Meet, held at the Udaipur International Convention Centre from 12 to 14 October, drew more than 300 scientists and industry representatives. The event’s closing session focused on the most recent observations from the Aditya‑L1 spacecraft, which has been studying the Sun’s corona since its launch in 2022. Researchers presented findings on solar wind patterns and flare activity, emphasizing how the data can improve space‑weather forecasting for India’s satellite infrastructure. The meet also featured a panel on commercial opportunities in solar technology, with several start‑ups showcasing new solar‑cell designs. Organisers announced that the next edition will be held in Jaipur in 2025.
