Udaipur's municipal administration has confirmed that every government‑run school in the city will undergo a Diwali makeover. The initiative, announced through local media, aims to refresh school premises ahead of the festival.
The makeover will involve cleaning, painting and adding festive decorations to classrooms and corridors, creating a more welcoming environment for students and staff. Officials said the effort reflects the city's commitment to celebrating cultural traditions while improving educational spaces.
The program is scheduled to be completed before the start of the Diwali holidays, ensuring that children return to schools that feel brighter and more vibrant. Local residents have welcomed the move, viewing it as a positive step toward enhancing the learning atmosphere in public schools.
