Udaipur bans vehicles from Jagdish Chowk on Anant Chaturdashi

Udaipur municipal officials announced that all motor vehicles will be barred from entering Jagdish Chowk on the day of Anant Chaturdashi, a major Hindu observance. The restriction is intended to clear the historic square for the traditional religious processions that take place during the festival.
Police and traffic personnel will enforce the ban and redirect traffic to designated alternate routes surrounding the city centre.
