A young man died and another was critically injured after coming into contact with an electric wire laid to trap wild animals near Sakhi village in Shahdol district.

Tragedy struck in the Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh when two youths fell victim to an electric trap laid for hunting wild animals. The incident occurred near Sakhi village within the jurisdiction of the Byohari police station.

One of the youths, identified as being in the vicinity of Sakhi village, succumbed to his injuries after coming into contact with the live wire. His companion sustained severe burn injuries and is reportedly in critical condition.

The discovery of the electrocution has caused significant alarm and concern in the local community. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the illegal trap and the subsequent deaths.
