Two individuals attempted to flee police by jumping off the roof of Jalandhar District Court and have been remanded for three days.
Two men tried to evade arrest by leaping from the roof of the Jalandhar District Court during a police operation. The incident occurred as officers were attempting to take the suspects into custody inside the courtroom.
Court officials and police quickly secured the area, and the two individuals were apprehended after landing on the ground. Both were taken to the police station for further processing.
The Jalandhar Sessions Court ordered a three‑day remand for each suspect, allowing investigators to question them about the alleged offenses that led to the court appearance. No injuries were reported among the police or the public during the escape attempt.
