A car collided with a trolley in Jalandhar, plunged into a canal and left two occupants seriously injured.
Jalandhar, Punjab – Early reports indicate that a private car struck a trolley on a local road and subsequently tipped into a nearby canal. The incident occurred on a stretch of road adjacent to the waterway, causing the vehicle to submerge partially.
Emergency services were dispatched promptly. Rescue teams used rope ladders and inflatable boats to extract the occupants from the water. Both passengers were found conscious but sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for advanced medical care.
