Police in Bharatpur have detained Rajveer alias Maggo and Neeraj Jatav, raising the number of suspects in the former MLA's murder case to 13.
Bharatpur police announced the arrest of two additional suspects, Rajveer, known locally as Maggo, and Neeraj Jatav, in connection with the killing of former legislator Atar Singh Bhadana. The arrests were made following further investigation and interrogation of earlier detainees.
With these two men taken into custody, the total number of individuals held in the murder probe has risen to 13. Authorities say the expanded list reflects a broader network allegedly involved in planning and executing the homicide.
Law enforcement officials have not disclosed detailed charges against the newly arrested suspects, but they confirmed that the investigation remains active and that further statements will be issued as the case progresses.
The case has attracted considerable public interest in Rajasthan, given Bhadana's former political stature. Police continue to urge anyone with additional information to come forward.
No further arrests have been reported at this stage, and the investigation is ongoing.
