Two minors stabbed after school in Bundi, Rajasthan; one in critical condition

Two under‑age students were attacked with a knife after school in Bundi, Rajasthan. One victim suffered a serious abdominal injury and was shifted to a hospital in Kota.
Bundi police reported that two minor students were assaulted with a knife shortly after school hours on Wednesday. The boys had stopped to eat golgappas when a group of youths approached and stabbed them. Both victims sustained injuries, but the boy who was stabbed in the abdomen is in a critical condition.
Emergency services rushed the injured to the nearest medical facility, and the seriously wounded child was later transferred to a tertiary care hospital in Kota for advanced treatment. The other student received treatment for superficial wounds and is expected to recover.
Local authorities have launched an investigation, questioning witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage from nearby shops. The police have appealed for anyone with information about the assailants to come forward.
The incident has raised concerns among parents and school officials about safety in the area after school hours, prompting calls for increased patrols and better lighting in the vicinity.
