Police in Madhya Pradesh’s Shadhura thana arrested a suspect after a house burglary in Ashok Nagar on August 30, recovering jewellery and cash valued at about ₹2 lakh.
On August 30, a residence in Ashok Nagar, Madhya Pradesh, was forced open and its lock broken, leading to the theft of gold and silver jewellery along with cash.
The incident fell under the jurisdiction of Shadhura police station, which includes the village of Mathner.
Investigators quickly identified a suspect and apprehended him, confirming his involvement in the burglary.
During the subsequent search of the suspect's premises, police recovered jewellery and cash amounting to roughly ₹2 lakh.
