Two individuals from Kerala have been apprehended in Bengaluru's Electronic City for allegedly stabbing a retired BMTC conductor and assaulting two other residents. The suspects were apprehended by local residents after a failed escape attempt.

Bengaluru police have arrested two young men hailing from Kerala in connection with a violent incident in Electronic City Phase 2. The accused are alleged to have stabbed a retired conductor of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) and also attacked two other local residents.

The incident took place in Electronic City Phase 2, a bustling area of the city. Following the assault, the arrested individuals attempted to flee the scene. However, their escape was thwarted by local residents who intervened, reportedly due to traffic congestion impeding their movement.

During the apprehension of the suspects, police reportedly recovered several suspicious packets. These items are believed to be synthetic drugs, and further investigation is underway to ascertain their nature and origin. The police are continuing their investigation into the motive behind the attack and the alleged possession of drugs.
