The Union Government has posted two IAS officers of Jammu Kashmir origin to serve in Arunachal Pradesh and Delhi.

The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has announced the appointment of two IAS officers originating from Jammu Kashmir. They will be posted to the state of Arunachal Pradesh and the national capital, Delhi, as part of the annual cadre reallocation process.

These officers, whose names have not yet been disclosed publicly, will take up roles in the respective state and central administrative machinery. The postings are expected to strengthen inter-state administrative cooperation and bring diverse perspectives to governance.

The decision follows a broader effort by the government to promote representation of officers from various regions across the country. Officials from the Personnel Department emphasized the importance of such appointments in fostering national integration and efficient public service delivery.
