Houthi drone fragments struck a Saudi oil facility, killing a Nepali and a Filipino worker and wounding a Pakistani and an Indian national.

A Saudi oil facility was hit by debris from a Houthi‑launched drone, resulting in the deaths of two foreign workers and injuries to two others, officials said. The ministry confirmed that the deceased were a Nepali and a Filipino national, while the injured included a Pakistani and an Indian citizen.

The incident occurred when fragments of the unmanned aerial vehicle fell onto the plant's perimeter, triggering a localized explosion and fire that required immediate containment. Emergency teams rescued the injured and transported them to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The attack is part of a series of recent Houthi operations targeting Saudi energy infrastructure, aimed at disrupting global oil supplies. Saudi authorities have reiterated their commitment to safeguarding the facility and have stepped up security measures in response to the threat.

India's Ministry of External Affairs has been notified of the Indian national's injury and is coordinating consular assistance, while the Pakistani embassy has also been informed of its citizen's condition. Both governments are monitoring the situation closely.
