TRUST MF Chief Investment Officer Mihir Vora stated that over the past 40 years, India’s compound annual GDP growth averaged 7.3%, while China’s growth was higher at 11.3%.

Mihir Vora, CIO of TRUST MF, made the remarks during an interview with Livemint, highlighting the long‑term economic trajectories of India and China.

He said India’s GDP expanded at a compound annual rate of 7.3% over the four‑decade period, whereas China’s growth outpaced it at 11.3% per annum.

The comparison underscores the differing pace of economic expansion between the two Asian giants, according to the fund manager’s analysis.
