The Wall Street Journal said U.S. officials heard President Donald Trump pressing his team to arrange a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as early as this November.

Washington – The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that senior U.S. officials have been told President Donald Trump is urging his aides to set up a face‑to‑face summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as soon as November. The push comes amid renewed diplomatic overtures from the White House aimed at easing long‑standing tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

Trump, who previously met Kim in Singapore in 2018 and in Hanoi in 2019, is said to be seeking a follow‑up dialogue to discuss denuclearisation and the removal of sanctions. While the two leaders have not met since the Hanoi summit, U.S. officials said the president believes a November meeting could revive stalled talks.

According to the report, the administration has not disclosed a specific venue or agenda, and details remain under discussion within the State Department and the National Security Council. No official comment has been made by the White House or the North Korean regime at this stage.
