Truck Collision Sends Vehicles Topple on NH-48 Near Bagawas Ahiran Puliyah, Fire Breaks Out

A truck struck a pickup from behind on NH‑48 near Bagawas Ahiran Puliyah early Tuesday, sending both vehicles down the hill. While clearing the wreckage, the truck ignited, but firefighters extinguished the blaze.
On Tuesday morning, a truck collided with a pickup from behind on National Highway 48 near Bagawas Ahiran Puliyah in the Kotputli‑Behror district.
The impact caused both vehicles to tumble down the slope of Puliyah. The pickup’s driver sustained injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.
While the wreckage was being cleared, the truck’s engine compartment ignited, sending flames up the side of the vehicle. Three fire engines arrived on the scene within minutes and successfully extinguished the blaze, preventing further damage.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision and have urged motorists to exercise caution on the busy highway.
