The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission organized a LokOS workshop aimed at strengthening digital monitoring of its rural development programmes.
The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRL M), the state agency responsible for implementing livelihood schemes in rural areas, convened a training workshop on the LokOS platform. The session brought together mission officials, field officers and IT staff to familiarize them with the software’s capabilities for real‑time data capture and performance tracking.
LokOS, a cloud‑based monitoring tool, enables users to record beneficiary information, track fund disbursement and generate dashboards that highlight progress and bottlenecks. During the workshop, participants received hands‑on instruction on data entry protocols, report generation and troubleshooting common technical issues.
Mission officials said the enhanced digital oversight will help reduce delays, improve transparency and ensure that benefits reach intended households more efficiently. The training is part of a broader state push to digitise welfare delivery and align with national e‑governance initiatives.
The TRL M plans to roll out LokOS across all its district offices in the coming months, with periodic refresher sessions to maintain data quality and adapt the system to evolving programme needs.
