Tripura police and the Border Security Force (BSF) carried out separate operations that resulted in the seizure of illegal cannabis (ganja) and a batch of cough syrup suspected of containing prohibited substances.
The raids, conducted at different locations across the state, led to the arrest of three women who are now being held for further investigation.
Authorities said the seizures form part of an ongoing crackdown on narcotics trafficking in the northeastern region, and investigations will continue to trace the source and distribution network.
