The Government of Tripura has unveiled an AI‑driven monitoring platform aimed at tracking student performance and enhancing teaching effectiveness across state schools.
The state of Tripura has introduced a new AI‑powered monitoring system for schools, announced by the Ministry of Education on Tuesday. The platform will collect data on attendance, test scores, and classroom engagement, feeding it into an artificial‑intelligence engine that generates real‑time reports for teachers and administrators.
According to the ministry, the AI module will flag students who are falling behind and suggest targeted interventions, while also providing insights into teaching methods that yield the best outcomes. The system is designed to be integrated with existing digital infrastructure, requiring only basic internet connectivity.
Education officials expect the tool to help reduce learning gaps and support teachers in tailoring lessons to individual needs. The state has already begun pilot testing in 20 schools across Agartala and surrounding districts.
"By leveraging AI, we can make data‑driven decisions that directly improve student learning," said the Education Minister. "The next phase will involve scaling the system to all government schools by the end of the academic year."
